LOCAL CHIROPRACTOR UTILIZES LASERS TO HELP PATIENTS
Shawn Jones, DC with a chiropractic office in South Fulton, GA has actively integrated a laser into his practice.
A MORE NATURAL APPROACH
Consistent with the chiropractic system of healthcare I utilize a more natural approach. I employ a laser to treat pain, inflammation, arthritis and much more. Laser treatments are an alternative to prescription medications or NSAIDS. Furthermore, it can be used to avoid painful shots. The laser has allowed my patients to benefit from the advances in technology and science in the field of chiropractic.
WHAT IS LASER THERAPY?
Laser Therapy or “photobiomodulation” is the use of specific wavelengths of light to create therapeutic effects. These effects include, but are not limited to, improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, decreased swelling, and vasodilation. I use the Aspen 15 Watt in my practice. It is an FDA cleared Class 4 laser.
HOW DOES THE LASER WORK?
During each painless treatment, laser energy increases circulation, drawing oxygen and nutrients to the damaged area. Thus, an optimal healing environment is created that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, improves healing time, stiffness, and pain.
LASER THERAPY CAN HELP WITH….
The Aspen 15 Watt is FDA approved for the treatment of pain and inflammation. Laser Therapy can help with back/neck/joint pain, sprains/strains, tendonitis, arthritis, nerve pain, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, fibromyalgia, herniated discs and much more.
